Golf Challenge 2011
Martin gets his Hands On the big prize
Another year on and another day of good weather. The teams
looked forward to another fine days’ golf, competing
for the annual trophy at Leatherhead
Golf Club..
With a mixture of businesses from construction, recruitment,
engineering, mailing, finance, IT and pharmaceutical, the day
was set for good golf – as the scores showed.
Good scores were posted from most teams, with the top five
teams within 5 points of each other. The winners were Hands
On Computers who won with a score of 87 points, narrowly edging
Vinci Construction by 1 point. Another point further back were
Lucas Kennedy with 85 points.
The winning team, scoring 87 points, from Hands
On Computers,
Martin Briggs, Jason Smith, Ian Desmond and Jonathan Collier.
Runners up, Vinci Construction came in second with 86 points.
3rd place went to Lucas Kennedy team, with 85 points.
Longest Drive winner was Brad Harrison (BSS) and the Nearest
the Pin on the 18th was won by Ian Desmond (Hands on Computers).
