EMG Golf Company
Golf Challenge 2010
Mansell at the double
Another year on and a second year of fine weather, even hotter
than 2009, with more sunshine and hardly a breadth of wind.
The teams looked forward to a fine days’ golf, competing
for the annual trophy at Leatherhead Golf Club.
With a mixture of businesses from construction, recruitment,
engineering, mailing, finance and energy, the day was set for
good golf – as the scores showed.
The day started and finished in brilliant sunshine, with good
scores posted from most teams. Everyone commented on the fine
weather. The winners were Mansell who won in 2009, this year
the margin of victory was five points.
Following the golf, Jeremy Dale, the trick shot king, showed
what can be done with left and right handed clubs, long tees
and even longer clubs by treating the crowd to feats of golfing
trickery, which went down well with the golfers.

The winning team, scoring 95 points, from Mansell, Garry Gatt,
Malcolm Snowling, Clive Dowell and Phil Sims, retained the
trophy for 2010.
Runners up, Project Surveys came in second with 92 points.
3rd place went to Clive Edwards & Associates team, with
90 points.
Longest Drive winner was Paul Wilkins (BYL) and the Nearest
the Pin on the 18th was won by Phil Sims (Mansell).
